Frosted Flurries Apron Swap - Part 2
This is the apron I made for Shawnee's Frosted Flurries Apron Swap. My partner (from the USA) wanted something that she could wear throughout the winner season and not just Christmas time - so I found this really pretty Poinsettia fabric. I love the colour - so deep and warm, perfect for brightening a dreary winters day.
We had to include a snowflake somewhere on the apron itself ......this was a little tricky - but *light bulb* I thought of tying on a snowflake cookie cutter that she could use to make cookies while wearing her new apron.....heee heee!
The last image here is of all the tuck-ins I included in my parcel. The word I chose to base mine around was SNOW.....
S - Star Shape bowl
N - Noel embroidered tea towel
O - Ornaments (snowflake shapes)
W - "White Christmas" cd
I also included some cute snowflake cupcake cases and some more cookie cutters.....yay! Hope she likes it..........
I LOVE Christmas! - not long to go now....

Small Fox Ornament Swap - Part 2
These are my Little Lacey Angels that I made for the Small Fox Christmas Ornament Swap. I think they turned out quite well in the end. They look so cute all together - like a mini host. I hope the other swappers like them. They were lots of fun to make - I just used coster size doillies, wooden pegs, white felt for the dresses and heaps of glitter for a bit of Christmas *sparkle*. .....hee hee, they even have glitter shoes - fancy!

Foxy!
I'm really excited about this swap! I heard about how great this swap was a long time ago and I've been waiting and waiting for registration to pop up for this years so I could join in! I have to make 10 ornaments that will be sent to Ms Small Fox and she will then redistribute them and I will receive 10 different ornaments back....such a fun idea!
I'm not sure what I'll make yet, but there is lots of inspiration on flickr from last years swap! Check it out - they are so creative and special, I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with this time around.

Fundamentally Ornamental
turtle dove
christmas tree
gingerbread man
These are the little biscuit cutter felt ornaments that I made for the Thimbleprims Studio Christmas Ornament Swap....yay! So cute, even if I do say so myself!
They are really easy to make. All you need is: some biscuit cutters, sheets of felt, embroidery thread, some bead/sequins to decorate and stuffing.
1) Trace around your cutter on the felt x 2 and cut out.
2) Lay the 2 cut out pieces on top of each other and sew around the edge in blanket stitch using ebroidery thread. Leaving a small opening to suff.
3) Stuff your ornament and sew-up the opening.
4) Decorate with what ever takes your fancy!
5) Add some ribbon to hang on your Chrissy tree!

I CHALLENGE You!
I've done something quite crazy (I think) I have made the pledge to make 2010 a totally Handmade Christmas!! ....eeeeek. I came across this challenge at the Knicky Knacks blog via Honey Jumble (super blog BTW) who has also taken the plunge.
The idea is to buy and/or make handmade items only for all of your Christmas gifts. It is quite exciting, if not a little nerve racking, and I think perhaps it's just the thing I need to keep the creative juices flowing! Every week up until Christmas, on the Knicky Knacks blog, you are invited to share your projects, ideas, purchases etc.
I will keep you posted on what I create over the next few months til Christmas......(this year is going too quickly!).....
.......and I invite you too to join in the Handmade Christmas Challenge! Do let me know if you join up and we can panic together.......hee,hee,he... xxx
